Organizer
The CIRAIG is an interuniversity reference center whose mission is
« to generate, integrate and interpret relevant knowledge in the fields of life cycle assessment (LCA) and life cycle management (LCM) of products, processes and services, with the objective of supporting industries and government in their transition towards sustainable development ». Initially founded by the École Polytechnique de Montréal, the Université de Montréal and the HEC Montreal, the CIRAIG collaborates with many research centers throughout the world and takes an active part in the research and development of tools for the industrial sector and governments. The CIRAIG is a member of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry's (SETAC) Life Cycle Initiative.
